Tracey Darling brings extensive experience in medical reception, administration and healthcare support to the Penicuik & Peebles Podiatrist Clinics.

Before joining the team, Tracey spent ten years as a Medical Receptionist at Strathesk Medical Practice in Bonnyrigg, where her responsibilities included arranging appointments, registering new patients, maintaining confidential patient records, answering patient telephone calls and assisting with the day-to-day running of a busy medical reception.

She also has many years of wider administrative experience and, more recently, has worked within healthcare as a Healthcare Assistant. This combination gives Tracey a particularly good understanding of both the administrative and patient-care sides of a healthcare practice. She is experienced in dealing with patients and families with professionalism, patience and compassion.

Tracey is trained in documentation and record keeping, GDPR, protecting personal information, health and safety, safeguarding and first aid.

As our Administrative Receptionist, Tracey helps with appointments, patient enquiries and the general administration that keeps both clinics running smoothly. For many patients, she will be one of the first members of our team they speak to, and her role is to make sure they receive a friendly, professional and helpful welcome.
